to think of a way to impress his wife for their upcoming anniversary. Markovic said
that without much money, it's hard to come up with a different surprise each year,
so he jumped into action to create this site. \"I wanted to surprise my wife this
year, but unfortunately I just missed our anniversary. However, We now own August
14, that's ours to keep.\"

Rather than just build a personal webpage or a MySpace site, that only family and
friends would want to see, Markovic thought of creating a website, to enable them to
share it with others who also wanted to own a day that is special to them.

\"My budget isn't huge, so buying expensive jewellery, or going on a nice holiday,
just aren't easily achievable.\" Markovic hopes that the success of his website will
help him financially to be able to do just those things.
